Other Resources and Ways to Help

Many ethical vegans might explain that they are vegan in order to cause as little harm to the world and other species as possible. Not all vegans are ethical vegans, as some choose the diet for health and/or environmental reasons. Like vegetarians, vegans choose not to eat meat, fish, or poultry. Additionally, ethical don't consume any animal byproducts - that means eggs, dairy, and (for some people) even honey.

Veganism

Isn't it Hard/Expensive to go Vegan?

Depending on how many animal products you currently consume, the transition can be simple or a bit more challenging. The good news is that after the first few weeks, it will get easier - and there are countless excellent resources to help you! As far as the
"vegan diets are more expensive than omnivorous diets" myth goes, you'll just have to see for yourself how much money is saved when dairy and meat are left off the shopping list. Some helpful resources can be found below.
